Block and Delete But No Wipe Option in Microsoft Mobile Admin

Problem: When accessing the Microsoft Mobile Admin tool on my front end Exchange server, I only have two options for the phones showing: “Block” and “Wipe.” Block is helpful because it will block any further synching with the exchange server but does not wipe or clean any, possible sensitive, material on the lost phone.
Solution: Within your front end Exchange server access system manager,
expand Global Settings and right mouse click on “Mobile Services” and click on “Properties.” Click on the Device security Settings button and check the “Enforce password on device” option. Choose what options you want and click “OK.” Wait a few minutes and the policy will be enforced on your phone. Check the mobile admin tool and you should have the wipe option.
