DVI to Mini DisplayPort Adaptor Needed

Does anyone out there know where I can get a DVI to Mini DisplayPort Adapter?  My MacBook Pro is only 4 months old but Apple’s lack of support on this matter make it feel even older.  Perhaps someone can shed some light on why Apple would want to alienate “older” Mac owners by no providing this capability?  I know that there is enough demand and there are rumors that a new adaptor is forth coming but still, we wait.

Below is a chat session between a use and an Apple rep regarding this and the only suggest was to give feedback to Apple.  Not sure how much good that will do but the link to feedback is below.  There isn’t an option for leaving feedback for the 24” display so I just chose the MacBook Pro.
