Wacom Bluetooth Tablet Not Responding

Problem: I’ve had some issues, in the past, with my Wacom Graphire Bluetooth Tablet un-pairing itself with my MacBook Pro or stop responding all together.  Usually, I would have to re-pair the two or reboot to fix the problem.  Today was different, however, and all my tried and true fixes were not working.  I was at a loss and dreading the thought of using a mouse and possibly buying a new tablet.

Solution: I realized that I had a spare pen and thought I would give that a shot.  Lo and behold the spare pen worked.  It turned out the problem wasn’t Bluetooth or the tablet, it was the pen.  Proof that sometimes the simplest solutions can be hard to find.
