Problem: It’s a common problem of cell phone coverage lacking in an office building. The only time you could get coverage inside the building was to stand next to the window. Needed something that could help the signal for more than one carrier.
Solution: Found the zBoost Wireless Extender
. The particular model that we used was the YX510-PCS-CELDual Band Signal Booster. The YX510 is compatible with 800 MHz and 1900MHz phones of all brands (except Nextel). We have seen a noticeable increase in signal with our iPhones, moderate improvement with some T-Mobile phones and not so great results with our Verizon phones. In the end, this solution was moderately successful and would do it again since the majority of the office are iPhones and with the $300 price tag, not a bad gamble.
