Here is a problem/solution that happens to us from time to time on our Astaro Firewall.  Not very often, mind you, but enough to mention.
Problem:  All of a sudden the Internet seems to slow to a crawl and or down all together, using Astaro Security Gateway and the proxy is in transparent mode.
