With little fanfare, my 3G iPhone arrived yesterday after being on back order for the last two weeks. Not saying I wasn’t glad to get it but after reading many reviews, it didn’t seem like it was going to be much of an upgrade from my current 1st Gen iPhone.

One of the features that was supposedly going to be in the new 2.0 software was mass deletion of emails and contacts within the iPhone interface. After four hours of messing with my temporarily bricked iPhone, the 2.0 software was finally activated. After all this wait, it was a bit of a let down to turn on my iPhone and really not much has changed. You now have the App Store icon and the new scientific calculator but that’s about it. [...]
