Problem: Created an article and linked it to a menu item. When I view the article, the title still appears. I have selected the ‘Hide’ option for Show Title within the article options as well as the menu options. I have pretty much hidden everything and still can’t the title to disappear.
Solution: Turns out that it wasn’t the article title that was showing. It was the menu title. So within Menu Manager:Edit Menu Item, choose “Page Display Options†and select ‘No’ for Show Page Heading.
LOL… never fails… ask the question and solve the issue… I thot I could do this on the main menu config… but I see I have to do it for each item. Sigh. Thanks!!
THANK YOU!
I looked everywhere for this.
You will actually find this detremental so SEO as the article title uses the H2 Tag where as the Page Heading uses the H1 Tag. Unless you are going to do a manual override in the source code, hide article titles and display page headings
Thank You So Much! I must’ve banged my head against the wall for months trying to figure this out. That makes no sense to put it there!
how can we hide the menu title in joomla 3.x versions?
