Problem:
I a previous post, I wrote about having trouble installing Sophos. With that fixed, I had another problem. I couldn’t manage the workstation for the Enterprise Console. I would get an error “ffffffff Awaiting response from the computer†and that the EC could not manage it. This wasn’t a problem with all of my systems but seemed to be an issue with my 64bit Windows 7 systems.
Solution:
Checked my update manager within the Enterprise Console and found that I was using version 9.7. I switched to version 10 recommended and pushed out the updates.. After that, I was able to manage my 64bit systems as well..
